Listen to the late, great Keith Jackson call Bucky Dent's iconic Fenway homer

The sports world is in mourning after legendary sports broadcaster Keith Jackson passed away on Friday night at the age of 89. Jackson was primarily known for becoming the voice of college football during more than 50 years behind the mic, but he also left us plenty of memorable baseball calls to remember him by -- including one of the most famous home runs in the game's history.
In the clip above, you can listen to Jackson call Bucky Dent's go-ahead homer in the 1978 AL East tiebreaker between the Yankees and Red Sox. It encapsulates everything that made him special, from that iconic Georgia drawl to his ability to make even the simplest of phrases seem larger than life. 
Dent's homer was the exclamation point on one heck of a three-year run for Jackson: He called Chris Chambliss' ALCS-winning walk-off homer at Yankee Stadium in 1976, then found himself back in the Bronx the next year as Reggie Jackson hit three homers on three pitches in Game 6 of the World Series. Rest in peace, Keith, and thanks for everything.
