Hall of Famer Frank Thomas spotted an unlikely White Sox hat on his vacation

The most common Major League Baseball attire or memorabilia that you will see when visiting Europe is a Yankees hat. The navy blue cap has become a global fashion statement that has outgrown the actual baseball team's fanbase. In turn, any time you encounter a non-Yankees-hat piece of MLB swag in a European country, it can be exciting, if not jarring. Especially if you're a first-ballot Hall of Famer on vacation in France:

Here are some other highlights from the last week in baseballers on social media:
Mike Trout had another inhuman week at the plate, extending his MLB home run lead to 23 with four home runs on the road in Seattle. A couple players couldn't help but acknowledge his continued absurdity:

J.D. Martinez appreciated his teammate Brock Holt's ability to fill every role on the baseball field:

White Sox prospect and 2017 first-round pick Jake Burger played at Missouri State University, which is apparently often confused with where Twins prospect Brent Rooker played -- Mississippi State University:

Mitch Haniger hit a walk-off homer on Wednesday to defeat the Angels. His teammate Ryon Healy also hit a home run in Wednesday's game, but made sure his postgame Instagram was about getting his fellow slugger to the All-Star Game:

Mariners lefty Wade LeBlanc was especially impressed:

Cody Bellinger was excited to see his teammate Justin Turner on the cover of a new video game:
