Hanley Ramirez made a young Blue Jays fan's day with a simple pat on the head

A simple catch in foul territory turned out to be a very heartwarming moment for a young Blue Jays fan on Saturday.
In the bottom of the sixth during the Red Sox-Blue Jays game, Kevin Pillar popped out to first baseman Hanley Ramirez in foul territory. Ramirez made the catch rather easily, but he made sure to acknowledge a little Blue Jays fan who was around to witness the play. A simple pat on the head resulted in surrounding fans giving Hanley the thumbs up and a big smile on the kid's face:

Ramirez homered earlier in the game -- a two-run shot in the top of the third -- so it appeared to be a very successful day for the three-time All-Star.
