J.A. Happ took the subway home after picking up his second win as a Yankee

When the Yankees traded for J.A. Happ at the Trade Deadline, they knew they were adding a reliable pitcher to the middle of their rotation. They probably didn't know that the native of Peru, Ill., would make himself so effortlessly at home in New York City.
After pitching six innings and earning the win in the Yankees' 7-3 victory over the Rangers Thursday night, Happ went home from the stadium like any New Yorker would: by taking the subway.

Happ looks perfectly comfortable in his new city. He has his bag between his legs and out of the way of traffic and appears comfortable in close quarters. If we didn't know him as an All-Star pitcher, he'd blend right in.
