Manny Pina tried to throw behind Javier Baez at second base, so he just went to third

Javier Baez's reputation is more tied to tags than perhaps any other Major Leaguer. He's uniquely talented at both applying them and avoiding them.
During Saturday afternoon's game against the Brewers, Baez showed that the most effective way to avoid a tag is to simply run away from it. When Brewers catcher Manny Pina attempted to throw behind Baez to pick him off at second, he decided to just run to third base instead:

Baseball, they say, is a game of adjustments. Maybe catchers will adjust to Baez's display of craftiness on the basepaths with some pump fakes. Whatever happens, it's safe to assume Baez will remain entertaining.
