Josh Donaldson went somersaulting to make an impressive grab ... on a foul ball

As the reigning American League MVP, and one of the handful of players in contention for this year's award, Josh Donaldson probably gets asked a lot, "What does it take, Josh, to be one of MLB's best players?"
Well, two things: 1. An intimidating hairdo. 2. An all-out drive that sends you somersaulting to make the play … even on foul balls:

Look, Evan Gattis already had two doubles by the sixth inning of the Astros' 5-3 win over the Blue Jays on Friday night. When Gattis lined a ball down the third base line, Donaldson certainly wasn't going to let him get a third. So he lunged to his right to make the grab, tumbled to the ground, then immediately popped back up ready to fire to first base -- only the ball was ruled foul.
You can see the look of disappointment on his face as he looks down at the ball in his hand, as if to say, "Those sweet, sweet moves, all for naught."
It's OK, Josh. Gattis ended up grounding out anyway. Plus, we know what you're capable of on fair balls:
