Luke Maile lost track of a ball that got trapped under his chest protector ... until it fell out

Do you remember that time you couldn't find the remote control? You just saw it a minute ago, but, despite searching far and wide, you just couldn't find it. Just as you were about to give up, you looked down and saw that you've, in fact, been holding the remote the entire time. We've all been there.
On Monday night, Blue Jays catcher Luke Maile was there, too. In the first inning of the team's 10-1 loss to the A's, a pitch from Marco Estrada bounced in the dirt. After he blocked it, he tried to find the ball ... to no avail:

Fortunately, the ball popped back out of Maile's chest protector. Otherwise, it's possible he would still be searching for it.
