Manny Machado has apparently spent his time in LA practicing to become a model

(Mike Lawrie)

Los Angeles is the fabled home to all the dreamers who want to make it as actors, musicians and fashion models. Even baseball players can't seem to resist the siren song of an artistic side gig. (See: Matt Kemp, who at one point was rumored to be recording an album during his first stint with the Dodgers).
It seems that Machado has fully embraced his new star-studded home and is getting ready to take the fashion world by storm this offseason. We have the photographic evidence to prove it.
It started at the All-Star Game. Notice how Machado chose a suit without an undershirt. That's some seriously high fashion:

He practiced his photographic pose midgame with Kemp:

He took it all up a gear once he was officially an Angeleno. As all fashionable people know, if your hair is wrong, your life is wrong. So, any time Machado's helmet has flown off his head, his hair still looks pristine.
How does he do it? That's probably some trade secret that's carefully guarded by the fashionistas.

Of course, because Machado thinks about hair, he decided to unveil a brand-new and very clean look on Tuesday night:

He's got the sultry eye look down. That's the kind of thing that Tyra Banks could spend a whole season of "America's Next Top Model" trying to teach and yet Machado is a natural:

C'mon! This photo is probably being prepped to showcase this fall's hottest looks in GQ:

Would you be shocked if this photo was used in an ad for a men's fragrance called something like, "Torque," "Launch" or "October Nights"?

This look -- hair combed back, shades on and lips pursed -- should absolutely grace the cover of Esquire, or at the very least, Tiger Beat.

Maybe it's all a coincidence, or maybe you should prepare yourself for when Machado spends his winter swapping his home run trot for a runway strut.
