Manuel Margot's huge wad of gum caused a brief -- and amusing -- on-field delay

In Manuel Margot, the Padres have one of the most promising young players in the game today. He makes great catches, crushes dingers and has the general flair of a budding superstar.
He also, apparently, enjoys chewing on formidably large chunks of bubble gum during games. His wad of gum is so big, in fact, that it caused a (very amusing) in-game delay during the Padres' 8-4 win over the Phillies Tuesday night at Petco Park. Mark Leiter Jr. Jr. seemed to notice it from the batter's box, prompting Dinelson Lamet to point it out from the pitching mound.
Margot's reaction was perfect:

A pretty fun scene at the ballpark -- and for Margot, now that he's provided the world with a glimpse at his in-game gum habit. Here's hoping we see some huge bubble action sometime soon.
