A fan at Citi Field learned a valuable lesson about calling Giancarlo Stanton 'overrated'

NEW YORK, NY - JULY 05: Giancarlo Stanton #27 of the Miami Marlins celebrates his seventh inning two run home run against the New York Mets with teammate Marcell Ozuna #13 at Citi Field on July 5, 2016 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. The Marlins lost to the Mets, 4-2, on Wednesday, but Giancarlo Stanton had a pair of solo home runs, giving him four dingers in four straight at-bats. Most importantly, one of his home runs taught one fan at Citi Field an important lesson on when to (and when not to) shout taunts from the stands.
For example, this fan probably regrets chanting "O-ver-ra-ted" right before Stanton launched the second Earth-borne object to enter Jupiter's orbit this week.

An unfortunate moment to be caught on video, no doubt, but the Mets' victory probably made up for it.

Perhaps opposing fans will now think twice about calling Stanton overrated. If they want to taunt him about the way he eats Kit Kat bars, however, that seems perfectly acceptable.
