We regret to inform you that Yoenis Cespedes is no longer using 'Circle of Life' as his walk-up song

We don't like to be the bearer of bad news, but we must let you know Yoenis Céspedes will no longer be using The Lion King's "Circle of Life" as his walk-up song. He debuted the song last year and on the night of the debut, he hit a walk-off home run and the song stuck with him since. 
According to MLB.com's Joe Trezza, Cespedes picked a new anthem after experimenting with other music, and chose a new song to use on Saturday night as the Mets took on the Rockies.

Choosing a walk-up song must be hard, and while we respect Cespedes' wishes, we will still miss the iconic song as he approaches the plate. And so will this fan.
