Watch new MLB Network analyst Joe Girardi gift Greg Amsinger one of his trusty binders
On Wednesday, it was announced that Joe Girardi will join the MLB Network crew of in-studio analysts after 10 seasons managing the Yankees.
Those who watched the Yankees under Girardi's leadership no doubt noticed his penchant for using detailed binders in the dugout. Binders filled with information about pitchers, hitters, and all sorts of other minutiae related to what goes on in a game. Might he bring the binders to the MLBN studios for his new gig?
