Noah Syndergaard was aghast after his mother took a photo with his nemesis, Mr. Met

Noah Syndergaard was as dominant as ever (blister aside) in the Mets' season-opening 6-0 win over the Braves on Monday afternoon at Citi Field, but his day turned sour once it was all over.
That's due in large part to Mr. Met, New York's mischievous mascot that has developed somewhat of a feisty (and oh-so-playful) relationship with the man known to the city as Thor.
Apparently, Mr. Met caught up with Syndergaard's mother, Heidi, after Monday's game for a photo-op just outside the stadium gates, an action that elicited a strong reaction from Syndergaard on Twitter:

That this all happened on game No. 1 of 162 implies that this back-and-forth between the Mets right-hander and the team's mascot will only continue ... so stay tuned for the next chapter of this ongoing saga as it develops!
