Watch one-armed catcher Luke Terry throw out the first pitch at the Braves game

At just 19 months old, Luke Terry had his right arm amputated due to an infection he suffered while recovering from a truck accident. That hasn't stopped him from playing baseball, though: Luke currently hits third and starts at catcher for Cornersville (Tenn.) Middle School -- and he has no problem controlling the running game.

And now, after capturing the hearts of America, Luke's determination (and that arm) have been rewarded. Before their 3-1 loss to the Phillies on Tuesday night, the Braves invited him to throw out the first pitch ... and surprised him with a baseball signed by the team.

Who knows, maybe he'll be catching first pitches in a few more years.
