The Phanatic's chaotic visit to the Phillies TV booth ended with popcorn flying everywhere
Be careful if you are ever subjected to the goodwill of a baseball mascot, because things can get messy.
At some point during the broadcast of Monday's D-backs/Phillies game, John Kruk said something about wanting some popcorn. The Phanatic, being the kind soul that he is, decided to bring some ballpark popcorn up to the TV booth ... but this was no easy task.
Instead, the mascot's trip up to the booth resulted in abject chaos and slapstick nonsense of the highest, and most entertaining, degree:

Then again, I doubt Kruk specified whether he wanted boxed popcorn or just popcorn in general ... which was what he got in the end anyway.
Adrian Garro joined MLB.com in 2016. Throughout his travels, both Bartolo Colon and Vin Scully have placed their hands on his shoulders. Not at the same time, though. That'd be amazing.
