One Rays fan went above, beyond and onto an outfield tarp to snag a foul ball

The 2016 season has brought us all kinds of adventures in the art of the foul ball snag. There have been catches while Snapchatting, catches while texting, catches while holding babies -- even catches that became part of the beer consumption process.
But those were all fun and games. During the Tigers' 5-1 win over the Rays in St. Petersburg on Sunday, one hometown fan was posed with a question: How far would you go to get your hands on a foul ball? His answer: onto a tarp down the right-field line.

Obviously, tarps are not meant for human climbing, and the fan was relocated for the remainder of the game. So the next time you find yourself yearning for a souvenir, remember: Rather than leaping out of your seat, just seek some help from Melky Cabrera .
