Scooter Gennett celebrated Easter by showing up to the ballpark in an Easter Bunny costume

Even though this Easter is a workday for many baseball players, it's still important to find time to celebrate with family, friends and -- especially -- teammates. For Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett, that means dressing up as the Easter Bunny prior to Sunday's game against the Nationals:

While the reception of Gennett's outfit was decidedly mixed among the kids in attendance, there can be no doubt that his heart was in the right place with his Easter spirit.
According to MLB.com's Mark Sheldon, the second baseman also entered the clubhouse in his costume and promised the wear it after the game ... if the Reds were to win. Talk about providing motivation!
For now, at least, perhaps we have found a suspect in last year's Easter incident at Nationals Park:
