The Rangers, Reds and Braves unveiled new food that is mostly fried and completely delicious

Tuesday may have been the first day of spring in 2018, but it will likely be remembered as the day the Rangers and Braves unveiled their new ballpark food offerings for the 2018 season. Or, at least that's how it should be remembered.
The Rangers' offerings are proof that, indeed, everything is bigger in Texas. The Triple B sandwich is bacon, brisket and bologna, and you might want to follow it with a salad or some fresh-squeezed juice just to balance things out a bit.
There's also no shortage of fried foods, starting with the Ham Fries, which are what they sound like: Sliced ham that is battered and fried. But the mother of all fried foods at Globe Life Park is the Dilly Dog, an angus beef hot dog stuffed in a cored dill pickle and then fried.

SunTrust Park also introduced some new offerings Tuesday, including the Souvenir Loaded Tots, which are basically brisket nachos on tater tots instead of chips. If you're up for it, the Spec-Tater continues the theme of hot dogs stuffed in other food. It's a bacon-wrapped potato stuffed with a jalapeno cheddar sausage and topped with jalapeno, scallions, cheese and sour cream. Yum!

On Wednesday, the Reds got in on the fun and came out with some nifty loaded fries options and a Goetta Burger with a tasty-looking pretzel bun, among other dishes.

It looks like baseball in Cincinnati, Atlanta and Arlington is going to be quite tasty in 2018.
