Tim Tebow said a virtual hello to a fan's grandmother and completely made her day
It's common for fans at Minor League games to hang out near the field, hoping to score an autograph from some of the players walking by -- especially when one of those players happens to be Tim Tebow.
But one fan at Sunday's game between the St. Lucie Mets and the Tampa Yankees wasn't looking for Tebow's signature. He just wanted him to say hi to his 88-year-old grandmother Margaret, a huge Tebow fan who'd recently suffered a stroke. Tebow, because he's Tebow, was more than happy to oblige:
Shoutout to Tim for the shoutout to his biggest fan. Definitely made my Grandma's day. Biggest smile she's had since her stroke. @TimTebow 🐐 pic.twitter.com/9G2Y9JxJk0
