Watch Lance McCullers close out the Astros Game 7 victory by throwing only curveballs

The Astros had a gameplan before their 4-0 AL pennant-clinching victory over the Yankees in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series presented by Camping World on Saturday. That plan was simple: Throw curveballs. 
Charlie Morton used his to great effect in his five shutout innings.

But then Lance McCullers entered the game and went into curveball hyperdrive. McCullers threw 54 pitches in his four-inning throwback-style save, with a whopping 41 of them coming via the curve. But after walking Todd Frazier on three fastballs and the lone changeup of the night to start the eighth inning, McCullers only threw curves the rest of the day.
That's right -- the next six hitters each came up and sat down while seeing nothing but the spinning, dipping knuckle curve McCullers' known for. The right-hander already threw his curve more often than any other Major League starter in the regular season, but this was ridiculous. Even Mariano Rivera would throw something other than his cutter once in a while.
