Terry Francona tells media to 'go home and get clean underwear' during postgame interview

The Indians' win streak may be over, but the season is not.
On Friday night, following the Indians' 4-3 loss to the Royals, Terry Francona spoke to national media. He knew this wasn't the last game of the season, but recognized how incredible his players have reacted to the 22-game win streak. In true optimistic Francona form, he even threw in a quote about … underwear.
"You can go home and get some clean underwear, and we'll see if we can beat the Royals," Francona told the media.

We appreciate the dedication, but let's hope there weren't any members of the media who were this dedicated to seeing another win for Cleveland. Dirty undergarments just aren't worth it.
