With Daniel Bryan being cleared to return to WWE, we must relive some of his greatest baseball moments

It was announced Tuesday that WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan has been cleared to return to wrestling after formally retiring in 2016. "Following more than two years of extensive evaluations, Bryan has been medically cleared to return to in-ring competition," WWE said in an official statement.
This is great news -- not only for the wrestling world, but for baseball as well. That's right -- Bryan has an extensive history interacting with Major League Baseball, and we want to take a trip down memory lane with some of his best moments.
The "beard-off" with Josh Reddick 
One thing Astros outfielder Josh Reddick loves as much as baseball is WWE. Bryan knew Reddick as a fanatic, and was prompted to indulge in a beard-off competition:

The loser was subjected to go under the razor. And, well -- we witnessed the elimination of Reddick's beard, compliments of Bryan:

The "Yes Movement"
Perhaps the most well-known platform Bryan holds is his creation of the "Yes Movement." It was a simple word and cheer that seemed to catch on like wildfire. 
Back in 2012, Bryan somewhat stumbled across this phrase by "adopting" Diego Sanchez's pre-match habit of saying "Yes" over and over again. That's when the entire arena started chanting it. He didn't plan it, but it eventually became his motto.
The motto made its way first toHunter Pence, who became a WWE fan because of Bryan:

The wrestler then made an appearance during Game 3 of the NLDS at AT&T Park, accompanied by Lou Seal.

And the Pirates (and the "left-field loonies") embraced the Yes Movement as well:

Phillies roots
Bryan threw out the ceremonial first pitch and took some batting practice with the Phillies back in September 2016. Despite being a tad nervous for it, he did a stellar job and even got to hang out with Ryan Howard.
