Yasiel Puig celebrated a homer by giving Joc Pederson's brother, Champ, a hug at home plate

Monday's Dodgers-Giants series opener at AT&T Park featured a lengthy rain delay that pushed the first inning back a few hours after the first out of the game was recorded. But once things got going, it presented an opportunity for a pretty great scene at home plate in the fifth inning.
Facing Kyle Crick, Yasiel Puig crushed an offspeed pitch deep toward the left-field bleachers for a homer. When he got back to home plate, Adrián González was waiting to celebrate. So, too, was the Dodgers' bat boy, who just so happened to be Champ Pederson (Joc Pederson's older brother). Puig gave him a big ol' hug:

Pederson's family hails from nearby Palo Alto, so the Dodgers coming to town makes this situation possible. Champ served as the bat boy for the Dodgers' visit to San Francisco last October, too:

A pretty great tradition, isn't it?
