A Program Designed for Every Player
Junior Giants removes barriers so every child has the opportunity to play. Through the support of the Giants Community Fund and community partners, families can participate in a full season of baseball or softball at no cost. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where kids build confidence, friendships and life skills while enjoying the game.
What Your Child Receives
When your child joins Junior Giants, they receive:
- A positive, noncompetitive environment where players of all skill levels are welcome
- A Junior Giants uniform, including a jersey, hat and pants
- Baseball and softball equipment provided for league use during practices and games
- An eight-week season of practices, games and team activities in their community
- Character development lessons through the Words of the Week curriculum, focused on the Four Bases of Character Development: confidence, integrity, teamwork and leadership
- Mental health resources provided in partnership with the Crisis Text Line and the Kevin Love Fund to support youth wellbeing
- Opportunities to receive tickets to attend a Giants game at Oracle Park via year-end survey (ask your local league organizers for more information)
Support for Leagues and Volunteers
