A veteran of 14 Major League seasons, Bret Boone was one of the finest second basemen of his era. A Red from 1994-1998, Boone was a key member of the Reds’ 1995 NL Central Division -winning club. In 1997, Boone set a still-standing Major League record for second basemen with a .997 fielding percentage and tied the record for fewest errors by a second baseman with two.
