A 108-year-old Cubs fan passed away a few days after her team finally won the World Series

Illinois native Mabel Ball was born just two months before the Cubs won the World Series in 1908. She passed away on Tuesday, after seeing her favorite team win the title for just the second time in her life. ABC-7 News in Chicago interviewed her before the conclusion of this year's Fall Classic, and she seemed pretty enthusiastic about their chances:

Here's how she felt about the Cubs' dramatic Game 7 victory, according to her son, Rich Ball:
"I guess it tickled her a little bit," he said.
