A-Rod's nephew, Marlins prospect Joe Dunand, hit a homer that would make his uncle proud
Joe Dunand is a 22-year-old infield prospect playing with the Marlins at Spring Training. Dunand is hoping to make waves after being drafted by the Marlins in the second round of the 2017 MLB Draft and, eventually, make it to the Major Leagues.
If he does, his uncle Alex Rodriguez will no doubt be beaming with pride (as he was when the Marlins picked Dunand). He was probably feeling pretty good on Sunday after seeing Dunand loft a home run to left field in Miami's 8-5 loss to the Yankees:
