In their teams' final home games, fans showed love for Adrian Beltre and Chase Utley

As the regular season comes to a close, there are few things that have the power to distract from the battles for the last remaining postseason spots. One of those things, though, is the looming departure of beloved players. On Sunday, two of those players had potentially their final games in front of their home crowds.
First, it was Chase Utley, who's retiring at the end of the season. He received a standing ovation from Dodgers fans prior to their game against the Padres. Even though they'll still see plenty of each other on the team's upcoming road trip, Enrique Hernández joined to show his love for his "dad."

Over in Texas, Adrián Beltré started at third base in the Rangers' final game of the season at Globe Life Park. At the start of the sixth inning, Rougned Odor replaced Beltre at third and Rangers fans showed their appreciation for the free-agent-to-be's eight years with the team:

Moments like these are difficult to prepare for emotionally, but luckily both players have produced lengthy highlight reels through which fans can find comfort in these bittersweet times.
