Bronson Arroyo, his giant leg kick (and hopefully his cornrows) have signed with the Reds

On Thursday, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reported that the Reds had finalized a Minor League deal with Bronson Arroyo. The 39-year-old starting pitcher/part-time musician has been out of baseball for the last two seasons -- despite attempting a comeback last year with the Nationals during Spring Training.
But this time, he's hoping to join the team he spent eight big league seasons with -- racking up 105 wins, averaging 211 IP per 162 games and garnering an All-Star Game appearance in 2006. All while performing a leg kick that should not be humanly possible.

Cincinnati is hoping the righty can provide some depth and veteran leadership for its young pitching staff, while us, we're mostly just hoping he brings back those sweet, sweet cornrows from his Boston days.

Or not. Either way.
