A.J. Pollock referenced 'D2: The Mighty Ducks' to prove his rehab is on track

D-backs outfielder A.J. Pollock will begin his Triple-A rehab with the Reno Aces on Friday night -- marking the first time he's seen any professional game action since suffering an avulsion fracture in his left thumb on May 14. Pollock took to his Instagram to mirror a scene from "D2: The Mighty Ducks" in which Adam Banks was returning from an injury he endured on his wrist during a matchup against team Iceland. In the film, Banks shows Coach Bombay he has mobility back in his hand, so Pollock did the same thing:

We know Pollock is more than ready to get back into a D-backs uniform, but it's nice to see him having some fun with the process.

We will see you soon, A.J.
