Proud LSU Tiger Alex Bregman wasn't about to put on a University of Houston jersey, so he gifted it to a fan

Alex Bregman is a proud LSU Tiger. Despite playing for the Houston Astros, the infielder practically bleeds purple and gold. 
As part of his eventful offseason, one that's seen him go on College Gameday and hit homers into the crowd while wearing an LSU jersey, crash strangers' weddings and, most recently, get an extreme closeup (and spilled beer) courtesy of Rockets guard P.J. Tucker, Bregman turned up at Wednesday night's LSU vs. University of Houston basketball game.

So when Bregman was tossed a Houston Cougars jersey, what do you think he did with it? As #HoustonStrong as he may be as a star on the Astros, he wasn't about to put that on ... so he took it in stride, opting instead to gift it to a lucky fan in the stands instead:
