An armored car, potentially full of cash for Bryce Harper, has just pulled up to Dodgers Spring Training

It's no secret that free-agent outfielder Bryce Harper is going to get a massive contract from whichever team signs him. After Manny Machado signed with the Padres for $300 million, it's possible that Harper will exceed that value.

Over the weekend, it looked like the Phillies and Harper might have been closing in on a deal with owner John Middleton spending some time in Las Vegas. But, on Monday morning, the Dodgers were rumored to be back in the race. The fact that an armored car pulled up to their Spring Training facility hours later lent credence to those rumors.

If the Dodgers are truly prepared to enter the fray and outbid other teams for Harper, bringing in an armored car full of cash would be a pretty good way to go about it. All signs Monday point to this bidding war getting pretty intense before all is said and done.
