Big Al Delia made an appearance at Yankee Stadium and met his favorite player, Giancarlo Stanton
Prior to Wednesday's White Sox-Yankees game, Yankee Stadium was filled with the usual sights with player's warming up and taking batting practice. But there was a celebrity appearance in the Bronx -- Alfred Delia.
Sorry, he's more well-known as "Big Al," the star from the Little League World Series who "hits dingers." And he was the center of attention for a moment as the Yankees took the field before the game. He even got to meet his favorite player:

Delia found out Tuesday night the Yankees wanted to have him attend batting practice, and when asked how he reacted to the news, he simply said "Woah."
According to MLB.com's Mandy Bell, in the middle of an interview, Delia was told to turn around. That's when Stanton approached him -- the Yankees' slugger ran out onto the field just to meet him -- Delia had tears in his eyes.
"Oh my gosh," Delia said after the interaction. "He came up and I was like, 'Oh my gosh! He's here!' And then he brought me down [into the dugout] and I was like, 'Really?' And he's like, 'Yeah, come on,' and we took a video. It was just amazing."
Big Al's mom, Angela, was also over the moon excited Al got to meet Stanton.
"I wanted to cry with him," she said. "It's amazing, it's so cool."
