Greg Bird homered off Jalen Beeks in a true avian showdown

The best part about Bird's bash was that it came against a man whose name is wonderfully similar to his: Rays pitcher
Bird really made that ball take flight.
It wasn't the first bird battle between the two of them. Beeks and Bird faced off on Aug. 14, 2018, and on that occasion, it was Beeks who emerged victorious. He made Bird whiff and then induced a fly ball in his second at-bat. That surely put some egg on Bird's face, and this dinger will help peck away at Beeks' pristine record against him.
Now, we just need them on the Cardinals and Blue Jays to take this avian showdown to the next level ... or at least have
