Bryan Shaw's only career hit was off former teammate Andrew Miller, and he couldn't wait to rub it in
It's always cool to see a player notch his first Major League hit. But for pitchers, the first career knock is hard to come by. For relievers, it's even harder.
In eight Major League seasons, the Rockies' Bryan Shaw has yet to record a plate appearance. However, he's not completely hitless. Shaw did record one hit in the Minors, and it wasn't just any old hit -- it came off his former teammate in Cleveland, Andrew Miller.
"I am going to text him immensely," said Shaw, recalling the moment. "I also pitched better than him that game."
