Madison Bumgarner traveled to Spring Training with his horses this year

While Madison Bumgarner did bring his horses from his home in North Carolina to Giants camp in Arizona, sadly, he didn't ride his horses all the way. I know, I'm disappointed, too. I envisioned Bumgarner, dressed like Clint Eastwood in "A Fistful of Dollars," slowly riding across the country while stopping only to sleep in a thick forest or help some old woman find her dog.
Instead, he drove his somewhere-between-one-and-10 horses in a trailer across the country. Still cool, but maybe not movie-of-the-week level. Unless, of course, he teams up with new teammate and noted horse enthusiast Johnny Cueto , and the two become frontier lawmen.
There's a chance. As Cueto told MLB.com's Chris Haft, "We'll see if he sells me one or gives me one for free."
If that's all that stands in the way of "Cueto and MadBum: Frontier Justice," well, I'm sure we could crowdfund that.
