Everything Cubs fans need to know about their new favorite player, Munenori Kawasaki

The Cubs just got the deal of the offseason by signing utility infielder and perennial fan favorite Munenori Kawasaki to a Minor League deal with a non-roster invite to Spring Training. Muni has played 232 games over four seasons for the Mariners and Blue Jays (mostly the Blue Jays) and won a GIBBY Award for Cut4 Topic of the Year.
But most of what Kawasaki brings to the table can't be taught by a hitting instructor or a fielding coach. Muni's skillset features the kind of intangibles that fans drool over.
The man's got muscles.

The man's got moves.

The man's got jokes.

He can hand-jive like he starred in his high school's production of "Grease."

He brings a passion to the dugout that is unmatched by anyone in MLB.

He's in shape, thanks in large part to his, um, unusual warmup routine.

Like Crash Davis from "Bull Durham," Muni knows exactly what to say to reporters.

He's can gaze through you and into your soul at his will.

And, on top of all of those impressive skills, the man just has a huggable quality about him that even the game's greats can't resist.
