The World Series MVP Award is now named after Willie Mays, so let's remember 'The Catch'

MLB announced Friday that the World Series Most Valuable Player Award will be named after Hall of Famer Willie Mays starting with the 2017 Fall Classic.
Though Mays never won a World Series MVP Award himself, the renaming is fitting. The first World Series MVP award was issued in 1955 to Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Johnny Podres, one year after Mays' New York Giants won the title and Mays did this:

The Catch helped the Giants win Game 1 of the 1954 World Series on the way to a four-game sweep of the Indians. Now, more than 60 years after his iconic World Series moment, Mays got the official recognition he very much deserved.
