Convince a Neutral: Should you root for the Cubs or the Nationals in the NLDS?

The NLDS presented by T-Mobile is here, and frankly, it's impossible to decide who to cheer for if you aren't already a fan of one of these teams.
One year ago, the Cubs took home their first World Series championship in more than a century -- and, you'd be forgiven for assuming literally everyone (outside of Cardinals fans) was pulling for them during that campaign.
But it's 2017 now, and things are different. Chicago has become the nouveau riche with a beautifully renovated stadium, a squadron of star players and, oh yeah, that World Series ring. There's a lot to love with this team, but they're hardly the everymen. Even if they employ a guy who just goes to watch sandlot baseball on his weekends:

The Nationals, on the other hand, are the team without a pedigree. Never mind the fact that they won five more games than the Cubs this season -- led in part by stud Max Scherzer and ultra-stud Bryce Harper -- if you want to win the World Series, the road to glory runs through last year's champs.
So, who should a neutral fan pull for this year: The stylish and charismatic reigning heroes or the hungry and iconoclastic dreamers? It's honestly too hard to pick.
If you need some help deciding, Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman share their arguments for why you should cheer for the Cubs or the Nationals in the video up top. Once you've made your decision, let us know what you think in the poll below:

And make sure to watch Game 1 of the NLDS presented by T-Mobile at 7:30 p.m. ET on TBS.
