Chewbacca Mom gave a stirring rendition of our national anthem at the Astros game

You probably know Candace Payne as Chewbacca Mom, the woman who became an Internet sensation back in May by putting on a Chewbacca mask and proceeding to giggle uncontrollably for minutes on end.

But that's just one part of who Payne is. She has much more to offer beyond bringing pure joy to the entire world -- like, for example, her secret career as a platinum recording artist.
The Astros asked Payne to sing the national anthem prior to their 5-2 win over the Mariners on Tuesday. And, as you can see from the video above, she ... actually kind of crushed it. The crowd at Minute Maid Park clearly appreciated her performance -- although, as much as we were pleasantly surprised by her pipes, we feel compelled to dock her point for not actually singing through a Chewbacca mask. The Rebel Alliance is disappointed.
