The Cubs' and Brewers' wives took the field in Milwaukee for a charity softball showdown
Cubs-Brewers has grown into one of baseball's best rivalries: two teams separated by less than 100 miles battling it out for NL Central supremacy. Prior to Milwaukee's 4-0 win over Chicago on Tuesday night, the competition extended even beyond the confines of Miller Park -- thanks to the Brewers-Cubs Wives Softball Challenge.

Each team's significant others faced off on the softball field on Tuesday afternoon, with proceeds benefitting Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities. Still, while it was for a good cause, don't think they didn't come to play:

Several Brewers and Cubs players were on hand to help out with base coaching or just cheering on their spouses.
"It was such a cool role reversal," Suter said. "They're always supporting us playing, and to be out here and cheer them on was really fun and for a great cause. It was a really good event, and I hope we do that every year."
