These Red Sox fans wrote thank-you-cards to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts for his 2004 ALCS stolen base

You won't find many opposing players, let alone opposing managers, getting standing ovations as a visitor, but that's exactly what Dodgers manager Dave Roberts received when he was announced before Game 1 of the World Series at Fenway Park.

Sox fans have certainly not forgotten, even as Roberts now occupies the opposing dugout in the World Series.
