David Ortiz is going to play himself in a movie about the 2013 Boston Marathon

Let's all agree on one thing right now: David Ortiz is going to win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor next year. He'll be appearing as himself in "Patriot's Day," a Mark Wahlberg-led film about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, and he'll be re-enacting this emotional moment (NSFW language is censored):

Ortiz talked to MLB.com's Ian Browne about the opportunity:
"I think we're going to film it sometime next week when we're at home," said Ortiz. "We just went through talking today. It's pretty cool. Mark Wahlberg came personally to ask me about it. I know him. He's a good dude, man. Good people."
OK, we changed our minds, and we're upgrading Papi's Oscar to Best Actor, period. Sorry, Marky Mark, but can you really blame us?
