David Price was great in Game 2, sure, but his kid stealing the show postgame was even better
David Price continued his solid postseason run on Wednesday night, holding the Dodgers down en route to a win in Game 2 of the World Series to stake Boston to a 2-0 series lead.
After pitching Boston to an ALCS victory over the Astros last week, his son, Xavier, fully embraced the moment:
Wednesday marked the second consecutive impressive outing for Price, who has made strides in rewriting his October story these past couple of weeks. After the game, he hit the postgame media room once again to answer questions from the media ... but he was overshadowed by his trusty press conference companion:
Major kudos to young Xavier for the energy. It was pretty late in Boston at the time, so to be up for such antics at the mic is worthy of accolades.
