Derek Dietrich gave his teammates the Michael Jordan shrug after his third homer

Derek Dietrich has been among the most pleasant surprises of the 2019 season. After being designated for assignment by the Marlins back in November, he had something to prove when he settled for a Minor League deal with the Reds in February.

To say the Reds have reaped the rewards is an understatement. After a hat trick of homers at Great American Ball Park on Tuesday night, he's already set a new career-high with 17 -- seven of which have come against the Pirates.

Dietrich's third blast of the day came with even more flair than normal.

This game is just getting too easy for Dietrich. Appropriately, as he passed first base while the ball sailed over the right-field wall, he gave the patented Jordan shrug to his Reds teammates:

When over half of your hits on the season are homers, yeah, you can strike a pose. No doubt. Not even Yasiel Puig can believe what Dietrich's doing at this point.

Take it all in, Derek. You deserve it.
