Dodgers fans sang 'Happy Birthday' to Alex Verdugo in the middle of a game and it was awesome
What's the best birthday celebration you've ever had? A clown blowing bubbles out of its nose? Roller-blading to the YMCA dance? Whatever it was, it probably didn't top what birthday boy and Dodgers outfielder Alex Verdugo got during Wednesday night's Padres-Dodgers game.
The now 23-year-old got a mid-game "Happy Birthday" serenade from many of the 41,000-plus people at Dodger Stadium. Turn up your volume because it was magical.
And to think: he's only 23! What will happen for his 30th? His 50th?
