The Eagles had to build their 2019 schedule around a potential Phillies postseason run

The NFL released its 2019 schedule on Wednesday, and if you're a fan of the Eagles, you may have noticed something a little odd: After a home game on Oct. 6, the Birds will spend the next three weeks on the road -- the only three-game road trip for any team next season.

As it turns out, there's a pretty good reason for that: Fall 2019 is shaping up to be Phillies time.

Philly hasn't reached the postseason since 2011, so that past disregard makes sense. Now, though, the team is atop the NL East at 11-6, looking both extremely fun and extremely likely to still be playing come October. So, while we apologize for making Carson Wentz and Co. spend a few weeks away from home, we're guessing that fans won't be too bummed about it -- there's a good chance they'll be busy.
