Eric Thames, Oliver Drake and Corey Knebel will design a ballpark-exclusive beer for the Brewers

After conquering baseball, it seems as though Eric Thames asked himself, "What if I were not only a Brewer, but also a brewer?"
On Friday, the Milwaukee club announced that Thames, Oliver Drake and amateur brewer Corey Knebel will begin working with MillerCoors to develop an exclusive, limited-release beer to be featured at Miller Park late this season.
The name and release date of the beverage have not yet been announced, but the production process will begin Monday with the three players meeting with MillerCoors. Thames has already submitted a list of what he would like the beer to be in terms of appearance, taste, aroma and style.
More to come as the beer advances in its production process. For now, we'll content ourselves with the development that the Brewers are no longer simply a collection of baseball players, but have also adopted the occupation after which the team was named.
