George Springer made the most casually-amazing no-hop throw to get Omar Narvaez out at second base
What is most impressive about professional athletes is their ability to make athletic feats that an average person could never dream of accomplishing look perfectly routine.
During the third inning of Thursday's game against the White Sox, George Springer did just that. After catcher Omar Narvaez hit a ball to the right-field wall, Springer chased it down and made an incredibly casual, no-hop throw to second base to turn a sure double into an out:
What sort of things can you do at that level of effort? Flush the toilet? Take out the trash? Springer flicked a ball from the outfield wall to second base on the fly with the same apparent effort and urgency with which you move clothes from the washer to the dryer.
