'Go Cubs Go' made it onto the Billboard charts for the first time ever
In the week since the Cubs won their first World Series in 108 years, everyone has been singing "Go Cubs Go." Seriously, everyone -- Cubs fans, marching bands, the cast of "Hamilton," Bill Murray on "Saturday Night Live," the team and millions of its fans at the championship rally, and on and on. So, it should be no surprise that the Cubs' anthem is now a certified hit on the charts for the first time since it was written in 1984:

According to Billboard, downloads of the song were up 125 percent, while it racked up 2.5 million streaming plays during the week the Cubs won, giving it the No. 21 spot on the Pop Digital Song Sales chart. Along with the old fashioned charts, "Go Cubs Go" was a hit on iTunes and Spotify, too:
In other words, good luck ever getting it out of your head.
